about us

Welcome to Melbourne Speedway Kart Cub (MSKC). With speedway karting becoming increasingly popular throughout recent years, our goal as a club is to create a family friendly environment where racing for all ages can be encouraged and enjoyed.

Often referred to as the stepping stone or the entry point for speedway racers, thanks in part to its affordability, speedway karting offers the perfect introduction for drivers as young as eight years old and drivers of all experience levels to learn and build on their race craft, paving the way for their future careers.

Join us on Facebook to keep up to date with MSKC’s latest information, including race dates, upcoming events and much more.

MYRTLEFORD MAGIC

Speedway karts return to this loose little bullring that is Myrtleford Speedway! The racing is fast, its sideways, and its one hell of a rush! We get back to it tomorrow morning for round four of the MSKC 4Civil Championship!

Jeffrey Redjepi is making the trek over from SA to compete across Standards and Outlaws, up against "Damn Fast" Donovan Meaney and the Wyndham Vale Weapon Aaron Cook in the open class.

Jacob Nicol will get some valuable laps under his belt in the Sub Junior class.

Molly Downie will step back into the saddle in the juniors with a triumphant return, alongside Gracie Meaney, William Nicol, Jack Regan, Cody and Kai Malley.

While the two veteran Junior Standard drivers of Kai Malley and Jack Regan battle it out, Iesha Jade Swan and Isabella Swan will no doubt have their own tight family going on for bragging rights!

Just a pair of Mods on the grid currently with Matt Swan and Trevor Hansen to dice it out.

Standards are the largest class on the grid and easily the hardest fought. Amber Ghent will return the speedway kart ranks after a successful bout at Avalon Last weekend, she looks to continue form. Jarrod Burns will be hoping to make a mark on his first race back in some time, planning on taking 2 steps further from his last third place finish at this track.

Allan and Jaxon Swan, Marcus Hocking and Trevor Hansen have all eyes set on causing the upset in this Standard Combined class of light and heavy. Scott Kelly comes in on career best form and looks to consolidate his speed as of late. The brothers Connor Aunger and recently crowned Australian Champion Liam Aunger will be in attendance with Liam already having a feature win in his corner at this track.

Camping is available Friday & Saturday for just $10 per site per night, not per person.

Mother’s Day prizes raffles, breakfast and lunch are also available at the track!

SIGN IN - 8:30am - 9:30am
SCRUTINEERING 9:00am

Outlaw karts will also be in attendance!!

There will be a fire going afterwards and plenty of beers getting around so we would love you to hang around and spin a yarn or two after the racing is all said and done!
